Keeping It Simple: One Language for Backend and Tests

I see projects with different programming languages. When a new language comes in, it’s often trendy, and developers want pay for trying it out. Personally, I don’t like these mixed projects. I prefer ones using a single programming language, so any developer can work on any part of the project. The same goes for automated tests – using the project’s main language is simpler and makes tests more understandable.
