Happy Easter: Reflections on Sacrifice, Redemption, and Eternal Life

Today is Easter, the most important holiday for all Christians. Usually on this day, we talk about the essence of Christianity, about how Jesus was crucified and why He allowed Himself to be crucified. Also remembered is the story that happened many centuries before the birth of Jesus Christ, when the Jews in the time of Moses in Egypt celebrated the first Easter. Each Jewish family sacrificed a lamb so that the angel of death would pass over their homes. For us, Christians, Easter is our Savior, Jesus Christ, who willingly sacrificed Himself for us when we were still sinners. In this, the true love of God the Father is revealed. But the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is also a loud call from God to all people to turn away from sins and follow Him, to have eternal life and spend eternity with our Heavenly Father.
